861 Squadron is recruiting now!

861 (Wideopen) Squadron Air Training Corps

It is an incredibly exciting time for 861(Wideopen) Squadron; we have introduced a new training regime which will assist us in delivering first rate, relevant and up-to-date training for cadets and staff. We have recently vacated our Squadron Headquarters to make way for a fantastic new building which will provide us with suitable accommdation up until 2060. The new build process means that we have had to move to a temporary location and we are thrilled to be working with our partners at Hazelwood Community Primary School who have provided us with a temporary home. The new accommodation is due for completion sometime in late September to mid October 2010.

If you are aged between 13 and 17 years and think you have what it takes to be an Air Cadet, why not browse this website or feel free to contact me at oc.861@aircadets.org and I will be happy to inform you about the joining process and give you any other information you require. If you are aged 20 or above and wish to become an Adult Member of Staff, I would also be very happy to talk to you about what you could offer the young people of the ACO.
